Get answers to common questions about Brow Cleanup.
At Kismet we recommend a Brow Cleanup every two to four weeks depending on your hair growth and maintenance routine. Faster growers may need biweekly visits; most clients find a three- to four-week cadence keeps brows tidy without reshaping.
Brow Cleanup focuses on removing stray hairs and refining edges — it does not alter your established arch or overall shape. If you want a reshaped brow, book a full shaping or brow design service so we can sculpt anew.
Our Brow Cleanup uses precise tweezing, light trimming, and gentle waxing or threading only when necessary. We prioritize hygiene with sterilized tools and customized techniques to preserve your shape while removing unwanted hairs for a clean, natural result.
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face and avoid heavy eye creams. Skip retinol or strong exfoliants 48–72 hours prior. Bring reference photos if you want to maintain a specific look and tell your technician about any skin sensitivities.
Wait for microblading to fully heal before cleanup — typically four to six weeks. After brow tinting, allow 24–48 hours before having hairs removed. If unsure, consult your technician so we preserve pigment and healing.
Most clients feel minimal discomfort — a few quick tugs from tweezing with short-lived redness. We use calming gels and cold compresses as needed. Sessions are brief, and any irritation usually subsides within a few hours to a day.
